There's a girl in my office, a pharmacist, who's in a wheelchair. I'd like to know how she ended up in it.

I gather from what I've heard mentioned in hushed tones around the unit that there was a car accident sometime after graduation (this would be some 10-12 years ago, given she's not much younger than me), but I'm not sure if she was driving or a passenger or what. This would be purely for my own interest, of course.



Unrelated, I'd also like to ask my mother if she has any idea how deeply her reactions - plural over the course of five months - to my coming out hurt me. I understand that it was a surprise (although the internet lead me to believe that mothers already know before their sons pluck up the courage to tell them) and take time, but she was the one person whose support I really needed and didn't get.

^ Yeah, after the body dies, there are still 7 million people in the world, and there are a million or more animal and insect species, not to mention bacteria/microbes. So there is plenty of life after the body dies.

But, why is it that you park in a driveway, and you drive on a parkway?
