There’s a guy I’ve known for a few months now and I really like him. However, a friend of mine recently told me he doesn’t wanna see me get hurt and to be careful with the guy. I mentioned this to my brother and to him it sounds like my friend might know something that I don’t. I’m not getting any bad vibes from him, but then again I haven’t liked anyone this way in such a long time. Maybe I am missing something. Should I keep things casual with the guy or eventually cut my ties with him?

So your friend told you to "be careful" but provided no further information? Ask.

^Agree.

It's always a risk to interfere in a friend's relationships but if he has concerns, he needs to voice them. Once he does, you can make a decision about what to do next.

Well, ask your friend to tell you his concerns.

If i was you i would continue talking to the guy and if you see anything unusual then its up to you to decide what to do.
