what should i expect for my first time???

this is kinda for me cuz ive never had sex before and i just wanted to know what i should expect in general, any advices, precautions, positions... for bottom or top. i kinda get the feeling ill be bottom so i just wanted info on that to not be completly clueless when it comes down to it. BTW, could you specify in both areas like this im not the only one who benefits from this? thanks

And when it comes down to it, if you don't feel ready, don't do it.

Take your time, and do not rush things. A little play to loosen up is good.

For me, it was a bit painful when we first started. I had to stop and take a breather.

There was, for me, a bit of, not really discomfort, but an ache reminding me of what happened the night before. I enjoyed it, both during, and the next day.

First off, you will be nervous. I remember my first kiss with my boyfriend (first kiss/first boyfriend) and I was nervous as all hell. I kept thinking I was doing it wrong, using too much tongue, or that he wasn't into it, blah blah blah. I got very paranoid. With sex, it was the same. I wasn't paranoid but I was still nervous. If you express this to your partner it'll take some weight off your shoulders.

Remember, he may be nervous too.

Also, make sure that you're comfortable during sex. Make sure he understands what you're expecting/wanting/etc, and vice versa. Sex is a mutual interaction; there has to be an understanding from both sides.

The info on positions, lube, and condoms here is great. I can't stress enough what lakeud wrote. I hope that your partner is someone who really cares about you and is patient. Things probably won't go as you plan it. Talk with your partner; tell him what you like, what's working and what isn't working. I'd definitely start out with the cowboy position. Take your time. If it hurts too much, stop. You can still have a great time in bed without intercourse, and you can always try again another day.
