What singer/band would you want to play at your birthday party?

If you could get a singer/band to play at your birthday party, who would you want?

For me I would want Paul Simon for just a singer and Blue October if I went with a band.

A few years ago I checked out Paul Simon’s price to play a private party. For around three hours of play time he charges about $200,000.

Evanescence / Amy Lee , Taylor Swift , Sarah Brightman, Tori Amos, Pink, Lady GaGa

Several local bands, I think. Then, once the sets are over, they cease being "the entertainment" and they start being "guests". And ones where they actually want to be there. :)

We actually tried getting a band for Pubert's 40th birthday. But the guitarist of the band ended up quitting just before the gig, so instead, the three remaining band members became guests. And they had a killer time. :)

My 40th birthday is rapidly approaching. I have a couple bands in mind that I'd love to play. I'll keep you posted.

Tina Turner

Barry Manilow
Josh Groban
Celtic Thunder

(not necessarily in that order)

I want No Doubt to sing 'Six Feet Under.' I know it is morbid, but that's because I would DIE if I saw them.

Lady Gaga too. :O I would have to be hospitalized for life.

Sting
S & G would be good - grew up listening to them
Maybe Peter & Paul in tribute to Mary, may she rest in peace.
Josh Groban has a great voice.
Celtic Woman
3 Dog Night - at least for Jeremiah Was a Bull Frog lol
Rick Wakeman - Journey 2 the Center of the Earth, Arthur.
The Brothers Gibb (BeeGees)

Flogging Molly
The Young Dubliners

Most of the other bands I'd like to play at my party are (partly) dead or have split up.

Oh they're so many...hmm from the top of my head

Lady Gaga
The Fray
One Republic
Lil Jon
Enya (yea I said it)
Etc...
