What the fuck has Obama done so far?

I believe he has done all he can with the amount of establishment push-back he has faced.
The establishment is all about distraction and disillusion and that's how we ended up where we are today.
So lets stop blaming the president for things that he has no control over, such as the rampant idiocy of the right wing.
If we think hes a failure, its only because the establishment doesn't like him, and that's what they want you to think.
The voters are smarter than that, and this game has become so crystal-clear to so many that im willing to bet 1000 to 1 he will be re-elected. I guarantee you republicans have alienated so many people by election day 2012 they will have wished the nominated a Mexican woman to run, and thats how desperate they are. Look at Sarah Palin and Michael Steele, just acts of desperation on the part of the GOP.
Think of it this way, Obama represents the people, he happens to be a democrat. Some Democrats represent the people, republicans do not.

Oh and the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. He and the FDA can take a flying leap with that one. Leave my cigarettes alone, k, thnx, bye.

Make sure you never smoke where other people are around, then, or at least none who don't smoke. Secondhand tobacco smoke is vile enough that lighting up where any non-smokers are should be considered malicious assault.

Oh no, America has the economic and financial system it deserves.

That's what he said.

As a former smoker (quit just over a year ago) I support every single one of the tax hikes. As much as I may want a cigarette from time-to-time, all I have to do is look at the $6 per-pack cost for something that only barely tastes like ass to dissuade me.

Ah, taxes.

People here rejected a 40-cent/pack cigaret tax increase to fix the roads. So the county is taking the worst fifty miles of road in the area and will be grinding the asphalt to gravel, then adding quarter-minus to smooth the surface.

Somehow they don't get that the way things are going, the only paved roads will be the ones getting farmers' milk to the receiving plant, or leading to important businesses. With infrastructure that crappy, small businesses will fail, and no new ones will come in.

These who object to the cig-tax increase are the same ones who bemoan that we don't get tourists like the counties south and north of us do.... ](*,)

No they're not. The American electorate is dumb as balls. America has the government it deserves.

Nah...

About 48 to 50 percent of them are, the rest are moderately to extremely informed and intelligent.

That's the scary thing, though... Stupidity is always so close to winning.

Perhaps in January, when the "buyer's remorse" begins to set in with the tea party and their ilk things will change just a bit.

I can't wait to see Rand Paul's first move. You couldn't write this stuff....

I have every confidence Obama will win a second term. Perhaps with Hillary at his side.

Not bad anyway.

The Republicans were ridiculous, but it's better than a rubber-stamp Congress.
