Oh my goodness, Alpha! I didn't realize that changing up certain words to use ones that have a better exact meaning is such a bad thing. Thankfully you came along and told me exactly how introducing a variety of words into a paragraph to actually make a sentence interesting. Now that you point it out, I probably should dumb down my paragraphs even more and just use "double not good" instead of "horrifying." (As in, your penchant for being aggressively inarticulate is double not good.)

And yes, obviously my philosophical quandaries are completely pointless and have no REAL answers, right? What's in your head and why does it have such a calliphygian physique? (Heh.) If you cannot understand what I am asking then I am more than glad to explain it to you.

I write with a much larger vocabulary because I am incapable of speaking the same way in public. I have bad anxiety and it doesn't permit me to use the English language to its fullest extent. I like to write to help improve myself as well. I'm sorry if you mistake it for obfuscation, but it's not my intent.

Look, if you're gonna post here - and you seem nice enough and have enough to offer that I'd encourage you to do so - the first thing you need to do is stop looking at the JUB board here like some sort of entity utterly separate from yourself. The second you post "Hi, I'm new here" (or "Here's a picture of my penis", if you're cutting to the chase), JUB is no longer separate and distinct from you. You are now part of JUB. And not in a Borg/assimilation sort of way. It's just a collection of gay and bi guys (with a few straights thrown in) posting stuff. And you may have a grand total of 57 posts to my 20K, but that doesn't mean you don't count. You've posted. You're now a participant. You're now part of JUB. And that means you're as responsible as everyone else as to the how things go here. You see a dearth of posts and threads that interest you? Not enough about favorite childhood toys, or Japanese folk music, or Andrew Jackson's cabinet selections, or how sexy Morey Amsterdam's elbows were? Don't go blaming JUB, because JUB is you. Not all you, of course, but part you. So the finger you point is pointing partially at you. You've got the power. Start a thread.

That's something I'd argue. Yes, giving people the finger elicits more reaction than giving them a thumbs-up. But that doesn't mean you're getting the best out of them. There ARE ways of getting people to think, to reason, to participate, to back up their beliefs...and without being antagonistic. At least, I've found it to be the case.

Anywho, I wasn't suggesting that you mince words and "baby" us, however if you think the most effective way of communicating is to bash all our heads in with a hammer with every sentence, have at it. I was trying to discourage it because I did the same thing and I'm probably on half these guys' ignore lists. I apologize for offering advice and encouragement to the Almighty Axehands.
