I don't want to speculate if this is real or not, but it is not surprising that some idiots would hijack a huge protest and bring some dumb placards with them. Have you any indication at all that the majority of occupy wall street share this sentiment?

Those creatures on Fox and Friends reported on the protesters. They focused on two bad ones and didn't mention of the thousands of peaceful protesters.

The right wingers are trying to make the Occupy protesters appear bad when they approved the tea Baggers violence.

Even assuming that picture is genuine, and even if that message was representative of the Occupy movement as a whole (hint: it's not),

so what? I don't necessarily see anything wrong with the message. It doesn't have to be literal.

Kill the father. Kill the patriarchy.


These ad hominem attacks on the protesters are getting really fucking old. But the silver lining is that it shows the movement is gaining traction. People with power are starting to feel threatened, if only just a bit.
