Not defensive so much as irritated and tired of hypocrisy on matters of race. Sexual attraction is based in part on physical attributes, many of which are determined by race and ethnicity. Why is it so scandalous and contemptible that many (actually, I think, most) people have a preference for certain physical types, which in turn tends to channel their interest more toward specific races and ethnicities?

If the thread had been titled, "Which Do You Prefer - Beefy Guys or Lean Guys," no one would have felt the need to post comments insisting that they didn't care about - didn't even NOTICE - other men's builds and implying that those who did were ignorant bigots.

You know ive changed a WHOLE lot over this last past year and i also use to say "its just a preference". Then i realized that it was much deeper than that, well for me that is. I use to be completely turned off by Asians. Until i meet one that changed my whole world, for the better. I still have issues with certain races today(childhood up bringing), but im still growing as a person and i do believe i will see the day i will over come this......But to answer the question.
