What TV shows do you want to see remade or rebooted?

I would love to see a US remake of the New Zealand hit show The Almighty Johnsons. I could see it really taking off here. Would love to see who they would cast as the main cast is all male.

Reboots:

Footballers Wives UK- I need Tanya Turner back in my life. Since she was the meat of the show it would focus on her and her takeover of Earls Park and the return of her nemesis Amber to seek revenge on Tanya. Since this is a soap maybe there is a way to get Conrad back from the dead....

I love space operas and I would love to see a modern take on Babylon 5. Something in the vein of the recent Battlestar Galactica. B5 was pretty good in its own way, interesting characters that took on different and often unpredictable paths. I would also like to see a gay main protagonist in a sci-fi series.

STARTREK.......... There's really not a good space sci-fi show on, come to think of it I don't think there's any at all right now.
I keep praying that startrek will come on to the TV screen soon even though we have the movies its just not the same.

I loved Grosse Point. It ended with so so many unanswered questions!

I like Pushing Daisies. I remember watching it back in high school and was kinda upset when I hear in E-news the show got axed. Wonderfalls too. Kings, Lipstick Jungle, Heroes and The Middleman. Had a huge huge crush on Matt Keeslar

my goodness, Daria was like the the story of my whole high school experience.


a heroes reboot would be good too, but hopefully it would be better at closing all its story gaps. truth is now i'm more interested in that joss whedon/marvel project.

I know it's still on and very popular, but I want them to remake Glee. It's a great idea on paper, and the first episodes were really good, but it's just terrible now. I'll be looking for a remake in about 20 years.

Something like Twin Peaks or David Lynch's abandoned TV project of Mulholland Drive (although it did result in a remarkable film!) would also be amazing.

Quite extraordinary. There was such poignancy to so many of the episodes.
