  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What type of phone do you have?

I've decided to ditch the smart phone. I got tired of $100/month and I really only used it as a VLC remote. So, I went back to my old phone.

Don't knock the ol' phones - I'm in the process of converting an old Kellog rotary phone to bluetooth =]

With my my Blackberry? No.

While I think Blackberry's are nice, I don't think it will "blow" away the iPhone. Just my honest opinion. :)

now really does your opinion matter. i think not.

and do you have any information about the new blackberry. probably not.

so see you in april.

Dang, why so testy? You were stating your opinion, so was I.

Oh yeah, use punctuation properly so people know what you're talking about. Just a suggestion. :)

I seriously doubt iPhone will be blown out of the water by a BB. First of all their markets are different. Second of all is BB going to develop BBtunes and then all the other associated crap? Remember android was a mainstream reaction to iPhone ... the folks who are apple followers aren't going to be jumping ship to BB.... finally MOST folks are beholden to contracts and CANT simply shift phones on a whim....

So I think BB may redeem itself. Hell I really hope they do but I doubt it is going to alter the landscape very much.

I actually have both; bb for work and iPhone for home. Can't wrap my head around what it is people see in BB.

I do as well. The best way I can put it is the BB feels like a tool and the Android feels like a toy.

Oh...

And NOTICE that ALL of the posters with their ANDROIDS...

They secretly WISH in their hearts that they had an iPhone...

They WON'T admit it -- but I KNOW -- because I USED to be ONE of them!!!

:):):)

I love my Galaxy SIII it does everything I could ever want/need it to do! I'm more than satisfied with it. Plus its pretty big, and the white ones are gorgeous.

Samsung GW... because I want my phone to work.

Nokia Nuron. It's not very smart and it doesn't have any apps to speak of, but it was in my price range - $8.00 after subtracting refurb discount, cashback and the value of the free refill card that came with it. I use it mostly to watch movies and read epubs under the covers in bed.

Dang I'm not testy I'm just being me.

my apologizes if you don't get me.

punctuation is not the topic. the topic is the death of the iphone.

soon my children.

Old Motorola flip phone. Used more as an intercom than anything else. Waiting for all the bells and whistles to settle down.

I had a Sony Xperia X10 on a 24 month contract which has just finished. So I've bought a Samsung Galaxy SIII to replace it, and I'm looking forward to using it as soon as my new SIM card arrives.
