What useful thing did you do today?

4 of us went to the folk festival on our segways. It was great. Good music, good food and lots to do. I had to leave earlier because of my back
 
Went to the beach with my best friend after days and days of cool rainy weather. Today we finally had a nice summer day, sunny, warm with a nice little breeze. It was useful because when we go to the beach we talk and laugh all day and the time flies. I'm never bored with him.
 
Well the chance to wake up and dress would be a good start. I have to say, however, that I probably won't do a single useful thing all day.
 
I washed some bird shit off my car. It must have been either a very large bird or a very poorly one.
 
Something VERY useful on Saturday...the paperwork needs to be completed yet, but I finally opened up some boxes which have been sitting here for as long as ELEVEN YEARS, unopened. They're part of a "running" trade/transaction which has been going on for 13 or 14 years now!

This may enable me to finally close it out, and move on. I've spent about 30 hours this week working on all of that.

Having that continue to not be resolved, has been one of the factors which have continued to produce some "mental white noise" that's always there. This year has seen the first real progress in working on my massive amounts of "arrears." To finish it all will require THOUSANDS of hours of work, but now I know that I can do it, thanks to finally revising my schedule in a way that makes it possible to work on stuff.
 
While at a shoe store today I was behind the person paying for a pair shoes at the register and they were $5 short, so I paid the difference for them.
