What useful thing did you do today?

I got a bill together to be mailed.
Laundry is in the dryer at this moment.
Dishwasher is running, and I chased the cats around the apartment with the vacuum--and I took out the trash.

I scolded my dog for eating through the bungee cord that holds my pickup door shut.

BorisC, very few things are more useful and important than this.

I finally got the entertainment center in my office (where I spend nearly every hour of every working day when I'm at home - and the office is at home as well) updated and arranged. Very difficult because I'm getting a video wire from the house, satellite TV, cassette tape deck, DVD/CD player, a replacement amplifier, a way to play audio from the computer...

I put a roofing sheet up on a shelter at my conservation & safety (public service) project.

Went and retrieved my truck from the shop.

I bought the meat to make my meatloaf

I got a truck that won't constantly be kicking at my blood pressure.

Now I just hafta figure out how to cover the insurance!

I cleaned up the dog poop from the yard, mixing it with weeds and sawdust in two buckets; all the contents are now in two tidy little mounds at my safety and conservation project, providing fertilizer and foliage.
