What was the last concert you went to?

A couple of weeks ago I saw Suzanne O. Davis, the lead singer of a Carole King tribute band, which I think I posted elsewhere on Just Us Boys. It was good entertainment, and they did faithful renditions of Carole's songs. Of course, I'd rather see Carole King herself, which I did a couple of times in decades past, but she's now 82, and I suspect her touring days are over.

Last night I saw the Beatlemaniax USA! They are a Beatles tribute band and they were very good! They put on fake accents and wore costume's from different period's during the Beatles run.

Last night I saw The Edward's Twins. They are gay identical twin brothers who perform impersonations of over 100 different music stars in hair, makeup, and costumes. They do not lip sync! They were incredible! They perform in Las Vegas and also tour all over the country. Unfortunately last night they mentioned that they are retiring next year. They are only fulfilling contracts that they have!

One brother does all the male performers and the other twin brother does all the female performers! Last night they did Bette Midler, Elton John, Cher, Sonny and Cher, Joe Cocker, Barbra Streisand, and Andrea Bocelli.

They were incredible and one of the best music acts I have seen! It is a shame that they are retiring!

Last Sunday I saw John Legend in concert. He performed by himself with no band on backup singers. The show was 2 hours long and he told stories about his life and how he started out and met and fell in love with his wife Chrissie Teigen. It was a great show!

Last night at the Eighth Room in Nashville. It was the Shindo with the Shindellas, CoJo Ko, and TEN. An intimate venue, and the music was soooo good.

Friday night I saw Debbie Gibson on her Winterlicious Tour! She sang her hits as well as Christmas Classic songs, her original Christmas Songs, an original Chanukah song she wrote, and a medley of 70's Disco Songs too! She danced with her two male dancers as well. It was a great show!

Saturday I saw the North Coast Men's Chorus. Although I don't think it was their best show ever, I did enjoy it. I always come out of their shows feeling pleasantly happy, satisfied and upbeat.

Yesterday afternoon I saw the Edwards Twins again. They were incredible just like the first time I saw them perform. They impersonated John Travolta and Olivia Newton John from Grease, Frankie Valli, Cher, Sonny and Cher, Barbra Streisand, and Andrea Bocelli. Eddie Edwards performed an original song that he wrote. The song was incredible. They were supposed to retire but they are performing and touring for another year. If they come to your city do not miss their performance. You will be entertained and see an amazing show!

I went to the North Coast Men's Chorus last night. They sang all Beatles songs. It was enjoyable but not my favorite of their shows. As I leave one of the NCMC shows I always have a feeling of peace.

Hall & Oates a few years ago. Was a birthday gift from my dad. I was definitely the youngest person in the audience by at least 30 years but was still a fun concert.

Last night I saw The Long Run a Eagles Tribute band. They were great! They played all the Eagles hit songs and they sounded just like them. I have seen the Eagles in concert and this group was excellent!

Last night I saw the band Heart. Ann Wilson sounded great and Nancy Wilson was incredible on Guitar. The rest of the band was incredible too!
