What was the last concert you went to?

Last week I finally got to see the Doobie Brothers 50th Anniversary Tour with Michael McDonald. It was rescheduled 3 times. So actually it was the 52nd Anniversary Tour. LOL They were great! They all sounded great! This was the 2nd time seeing them live. The last time was their 25th Anniversary Tour without Michael McDonald. They performed their hits as well as some songs from their new CD Liberte.

New Kids on the Block Mixtape Tour in July with Rick Astley, Salt & Pepa and En Vogue

Saw the one and only Chita Rivera performance at Chautauqua last week.

Last night I saw Lady Gaga on her last stop of her Chromatica Ball Tour. The concert started one and a half hours late. The show was great! Unfortunately 2 hours into the concert Gaga had to stop because it started lightning and it was at an outdoor stadium. According to the online setlist she did not get to perform her last 6 songs from the tour, including "Rain on Me." I read online that she was extremely upset and crying that she could not finish the show. My b/f and I waited about an hour for it to stop lightning and raining and then we left.

Last night I saw Carpenters: The Legacy. Sally Olson as Karen Carpenter and Ned Mills as Richard Carpenter. They also had a live band as well. They are regulars in Las Vegas but they came to Ft Lauderdale on their tour. Sally looks and sounds like Karen! The show was based on a 1976 UK Tour. They sang all the Carpenters songs and it was an incredible show. I have seen other artists portray Karen Carpenter Live in Concert, but never Richard Carpenter too. Ned Mills looks much older than Sally Olson. I would guess about double or close to it as far as age. But Ned Mills was great as Richard Carpenter with all the comedic banter. They stayed in character for the entire tribute concert.

Seattle Mens Chorus in Tacoma, WA, Dec. 2. They're considered the "gold standard" for gay choruses in the USA, and they deliver a jolly show.

an abbreviated Version of John Adams's El Niño at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York

Last night I saw Smooth STB, a Santana tribute band. They were great and sounded like Santana. They played songs from all the different decades including songs from Woodstock and also their very first hit song too!
