What was the last concert you went to?

I wish I wasn't so tight on money at the moment - cause I'm itching to see LCD Soundsystem tomorrow night at the new Anthem venue down at the Wharf here in Washington DC.

This past Sunday I saw Bruno Mars in concert. What a great show! There was a lot of pyrotechnics used on the 24K Tour.

ChevyGuy23 you mentioned that you were also seeing Bruno Mars in October. Have you seen the show yet? What did you think of the show?

2 weeks ago I saw Jimmy Buffett and Eagles in concert together. Jimmy Buffett opened the show. He played for an hour and a half. There was about a half hour break and Eagles came out and performed for 2 and a half hours. What a GREAT CONCERT! Deacon Frye performed with Eagles and covered for his dad, late Glen Frye. Deacon is only 24 years old, but he is very talented. Country singer, Vince Gill also performed with Eagles. They covered all their hit songs.

This was one of the best concerts I have been to!

last week saw the tour opener for U2, they played 27 songs over 2.5 hours. Still the best live band i have ever seen.

Last night I celebrated my Birthday by seeing Harry Connick, Jr. First time there was a concert to go see on my actual Birthday! The show had no opening act but Harry performed for about 2 hours at the Hard Rock Event Center at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The show was great! First time seeing Harry Connick, Jr live. He brought this 10 year old autistic boy on stage who played piano and drums and he was INCREDIBLE! Harry also tap danced as well as sing and play different musical instruments. Harry also brought on stage this guy, Luke, who was an INCREDIBLE tap Dancer!
It was a great show and a memorable Birthday!

I just saw Sade a couple weeks back and just got my tix to see Boy George and Culture Club in July.

This past Friday I went to see Phil Collins on his Not Dead Yet tour! The show had no opening act and was almost 2 hours long. His 17 Year old son, Nicholas played drums. His son was really great on drums.

Even though Phil Collins uses a cane to walk and he sits in a chair and he can not play drums do to nerve damage in his hands, it was still a wonderful concert! Phil stills has a great singing voice.

We had tickets to see Trevor Noah last Friday. The show got postponed because Trevor had bruised vocal chords. Now ... how can you bruise your vocal chords?

The show has been rescheduled for January. However, that isn't gong to work for us ... #-o :(

We did get a refund, though. ..|

^ We're still practicing deepthroating, but when we get there, I let you know if I'm bruised. If I am, I'll give you your money back.

Bright Light Bright Light, earlier this month at Boot & Saddle in South Philadelphia. This is the name Rod Thomas uses for his own musical projects. He's also a popular DJ. Aiden James opened. I wanted more from both artists...that's a good concert.
I learned this song was inspired by the Philadelphia-set movie Mannequin.

^ Can I take the guy in the yellow pants home with me? \:/

Oh, wait ... Um ... No ... Let's not wait!

Last night I saw "Kansas" It was the 40th Anniversary tour of their Point of Know Return album. They were great!

Last night I saw Cher on the Here we go Again Tour! Nile Rodgers with Chic opened the show. They were good. Never seen them in concert before.

This is the third time seeing Cher in concert! I first saw her in 2002 on her farewell tour! Then I saw her again in 2013 on her Closer to the Truth tour! Cindy Lauper opened for her both times!

I enjoyed the concert but I do not think it was as good as the first 2 times I saw Cher. The concert was shorter too I think! She looks great for 72 though! LOL
