Mostly Firefox, occasionally Opera or Konqueror (which uses the same rendering engine as Safari but is for KDE/Linux rather than Mac).

I do have IE6 installed under Wine but only use it for testing local stuff, never looking at anything "live".

i float between firefox and safari.

i like 'em both. :)

Most of the time, I use Firefox. IE7 on occasion.

So nobody else uses Netscape?
I installed the latest version of netscape a while back. Nothin' fancy. But it was comforting to have a netscape icon back on my desktop, as that's what I used for years and years.

I mostly use Firefox, but I also use Mozilla Suite because it has the best POP email service I've found yet - it's very good at catching spam - much better than Thunderbird, which I also use. I had to disable IE6 because somehow some spyware got attached that would open it up when I was not on line. Once I blocked it in my firewall, the problems stopped.

On rare occasions I use Opera. BTW, I think Mozilla is the new Netscape. I used to use Outlook and Outlook Express for POP email, but they were worthless for excluding spam.

I downloaded Safari so that I can check it out. Since I occasionally do web design, I need to see how web site will look in Safari. Several of my clients use Macs.

I use FF unless I'm forced to use some "web" application that's IE only. IMO apps are not "web" apps unless they are browser agnostic. I can understand not being able to run under some browsers, but at least support FF as well.

I used Netscape, but years ago moved on to Moz then Firefox when it became the browser of focus. I do like Safari, but it's too unstable even to be called a beta.

](*,)](*,)

IE 7 but i must speak to my mentor about letting me return to having the option of firefox - i was really use to it, but ran into a few problems when i started using Vista on the new computer.

Firefox, I don't like IE7.

IE7 came installed in my new computer, and I only use it when the webpage I want to see is not optimized for Firefox.

I hate the term "Optimized for Firefox".

People - Firefox follows the STANDARDS. It doesn't get them exactly right - but it gets them a hell of a lot closer than IE, and the few remaining bugs are set to be ironed out in the next major release. Check out the Acid2 rendering and you'll see what I mean.

If something renders correctly in IE but not in Firefox, Opera or Safari, chances are that it's because the broken evil hacks that have had to be applied to get it to work in IE do something unexpected when rendered in a standards-compliant browser. Not so much "optimized for firefox" as "broken for IE".

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.8) Gecko/20071022 Ubuntu/7.10 (gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.8

Firefox. If I have to, I'll go back to IE... grudgingly.

FF at home. IE7 at work. IE7 is close but no cigar. The on-page find is the same as previous IE versions and is a joke; it can't touch FF here. Also when you close a tab in IE7, instead of returning you to your previous opened tab, it returns you to the closest tab that was next to it. Dumb.

So nobody else uses Netscape?

Seriously, get that off your system now.
Netscape Navigator works fine for me....

I use it a lot, along with Firefox, Opera and Avant .... I like a bit of variety.

So nobody else uses Netscape?

Until recently, I've used Netscape since I signed up for the internet. Unfortunately, my system won't support anything higher than Netscape 6 or IE 6. I never liked IE, so now I use Firefox.
