What Were You Like Back in High School?

Oh jeez, high school. How I suppress many of these memories. I was definately a drifter. I could get along with geeks (the group I would most identify with), jocks, the religious and the druggies. Yah I went to a Catholic high school.

I was surprisingly much more involved in activities back then than I am now. Monday was Yearbook (I was the editor), Tuesday was sports night where I would go cheer on/oggle my classmates. Wednesday, was community service night. Thursday was religion night (back when I actually cared about Catholicism) where we had prayer circles. Friday was well, TGIF. Not to mention before school was band. So I was at school sometimes from 7am till 9pm. I was definately one of those kids who lived at school and was well liked.

Academics wise, I was middle of the road. Managed a B/B+ average got a few Cs here and there.

I just feel comfortable knowing now that any of the people that hated me, I could totally kick their ass now. I had a college class with a high school classmate. He was pretty popular back in high school. I had one of his group mates come up to me and say "was Don always an asshole?" I firmly replied "Yes. We pretended to like him." Donald does sound like an asshole name anyways.
 
High school are the best of your life

I was kind dumb doing crazy stuff, enjoyin life, drinking, going out, partyin, skipping class...

I was neither one of the popular kid nor a geek, I was right in the middle I guess...
 
Wow. I'm really surprised so many had such awful, loathsome experiences.

I'm generally satisfied with my high school life. I was in the marching band/ colorguard, I was a member of the wind ensemble (band), I was on the yearbook staff, I was in the Latin Club (and we had the BEST hor d'ourves at the meetings), and I did fairly well.

I also like going to football and basketball games-even though it was compulsory for band. I had various groups of people that I associated with in class and at lunch, so there was no "set" group of friends. However, if I was a member of any clique it was probably the band nerds.
