A non-fruit-producing cherry tree, cacti, a small decorative tree whose name I don't know, and something which looks like a plastic bonzai...

There is some leeway with tomatoes, depending on variety and when you want to harvest them. I haven't sown mine either.
Spinach is real easy, you can grow that almost any time of year (though to be honest I have only grown mine on the balcony in a large container, so my conditions are different to growing it in the full soil)

well i planting my seeds in a round container with holes in the bottom to allow water through well the tomatoe seeds require you to start indoors for 6-8 weeks so i was going to do spinach rosemary and parsley the seeds are from burpee

I bought an agave - not quite the spring flower but it remembers me my grandparents and our house in the countryside. every fall we dragged in the huge pots before the first frost. now I bought only a small one but I try to keep it alive on the balcony :)

I've gotta thing atm for Ipomoea (mornin glory) this year i wanna try a blood red variety i left it too late to order seeds of the orange variety ( woulda looked soooo good with the two-tone purple but there's always next year. The heavenly Blue one is prolly the nicest of the lot but everytime i try it, it grows really stunted (think its the fact that the slightest disturbance to there roots sends them awry) Also started some canary creepers and two more climbin roses Waltz Time a real nice plum colour and Ena Beauty a prolific red ;)

More Euphorbias and a red and cream coloured Columbine variety named "winky". I bought them yesterday at the florist. And I have a ton of seeds that have started germinating.

I just ordered more bulbs....I just ordered a giant white Squill among them. I can't wait until it comes....it is the biggest one that I have ever seen, around 8 pounds. :gogirl:

Here's a few from my garden.
The garden is looking lovely this year and I'm enjoying it a lot.
I suppose my greatest pleasure is the abundance of bees that visit my flowers. Next year I'll try attracting more butterflies. I've taken some cutting from the buddleia that have rooted and I'm going to pot them up in a while. Hopefully next year I'll see lots more bees & butterflies

These alliums are so busy all day long with bees flying back and forth

The coneflowers get plenty of attention as well

Bee hovering over the Japanese anenome. I have been trying to catch them in flight but they are just too quick, but now I've finally succeeded. :D

Indeed, Buttons is an excellent photographer.

Would anyone here be familiar enough with Rose of Sharon to offer some advice? I've got several that need to be pruned so that they will not get so tall, and will grow out more. But I always forget when the best time to prune is.

We had an empty field seven years ago when we bought this place.
