What would I dislike about living in the USA?

Something that permeates the whole nation, somehow, and to a bigger or lesser degree. Something that you don't feel very comfortable with and, therefore, you would assume that foreigners (aliens, greencarders, grafts, whatever you may call them) would find odd too, or something you'd assume that would piss off or sparge out belamo.

Bah, even that wouldn't be new to me... while in Beijing some stupid cool "average" yankees would take me for a rich Mexican and in any case the story of my life is that of an elephant shattering other people's expectations and assumptions. As long as they don't take seriously any of that... which I see as something that has developed in America more than among other people: blaming others for being upset by your own stupidity.

If you're Latino or Hispanic, your perceived heritage will change, depending on which part of the country you're in: If you're in California or Texas, you're Mexican. If you're in Florida, you're Cuban. If you're in New York, you're Puerto Rican.


In America, Asians are either Chinese or Japanese. If a person is from Korea, Vietnam, Louse, etc, they'll always have to correct people. People from India and Pakistan aren't Asian; they're terrorists/ragheads just like the Middle Eastern people.
