What Would You Say to Bush, Given the Chance?

I don't know the General very well, but misogyny is not a part of his composure.

I can translate, you, too, Chance. There is something to be said for generosity.

There is a knowledge deficit accentuated by perception problems that led the Bush herd down this 8 year path which has cost the lives of hundreds of brave Americans. Thousands if you count the numbers lost to unnecessary poverty.

Will we learn from this tragic waste?

Maybe, but so far I don't see anyone thinking in terms of fighting problems by returning to the values the country was founded on. We've become a country looking like a drunk walking down an alley: veer to one side, trip over and fall into the trash there; climb out, get walking, veer to the other side, trip over and fall into the trash there....
We keep arguing over which side of the alley to walk on, when it doesn't take a lot of brilliance to see that we need to either get out of the alley altogether, or stop drinking.

Kulindahr, part of the problem facing America resides in how we communicate. That is, a McLuhan type of problem. The change in technology and media means that there is a generation of younger brains that communicate in subtly different ways. But there is an interesting problem adjacent to this: The nature of the distribution to Access accentuates the perceptions of well-being disparaties--perceptions related to a globalized awareness. A poor boy in Mumbai or Johannesburg or Sao Paulo might be getting by with less but his communicating habits and also his socio-economic perceptions are different in ways that need respecting. But also, the spells of "drunkenness" and anomie are different.
I would love to be proficient in living off the land and close to nature like yourself, or as I percieve you to be. I'm not sure what direction this post is going, but, as you no doubt know, the more you are in tune to little things like changes in the weather, the less things take you by surprise.
I guess my advice to you would be to move away from "argument" somewhat, because the world has moved on. On the other hand, the world is still air, water, fire, and earth like it's always been. Be aware of nature, both without and within.

Mr. Bush, your grandfather was on the board of directors for Union Banking Corporation, which has been noted for its dealings with Nazi Germany before and during World War II. Such relationships have continued throughout yours and your father's lives, yet both of you went on to become Presidents. How is this so, and how have you managed to sweep such glaring treason under the family rug?
