Wow. This takes me back!!!

When I was a kid, I had this coloring book, with a "Genie" with a curved mirror that basically did the same thing. You colored the pages, then used the Genie to see what the image really was. Very same principal.

I'd forgotten all about it.

It's called anamorphosis; the desired image can only be seen when looked from a certain fixed perspective/method.\
This does not only apply to sculptures, but also painting (like the infamous street 3-D art).
