Favorite toy?

Crumpled up paper---and mine love to play in boxes. :D

Christmas time is kitty heaven.

But they also love those brightly colored "mice" made out of rabbit fur.

anything on a string. get one of those long plastic sticks with a feather on the end, kitties go crazy over those

Catnip mouse, or a rolled up sock with a long ribbon tied to it. Turned out that was MY kitten's favorite toy.

But a gift cert. for a vet is an excellent idea.

Vet's all taken care of, he's already been neutered (the kitten, obviously, not the vet), and the claws are staying on. Just needs to go back for one more round of shots, I think.

Neutered! Thats so cruel. Though my friend did the same with her kitty, just to keep the population under control.

You know what, you can gift him those ME-O kitten treats, like gelo fish.

Also I would like to suggest to gift kitty shampoo (The kitty is not gonna love you for that).

Flee collars

Treats like these

You can also get a collar bell.

A laser light, that is the best gift a kitty can get.

Aww I miss my four babies :(

A .22? Ahhhh! Just kidding. Anyone who knows me knows that it is nit in my DNA to be even the least bit mean to any animal let alone a teenie tiny fluffy kitty!

I think all the above suggestions are swell. Check Martha Stewart's website for a million ideas for homemade gifts; she probably has a section on animals. It will be a cool thing that you made for not a lot of money. showing how much you like the guy and tiny kitties.

but them holistic all natural treats or a bag of kitten food. wellness and organix are amazing brands

I was talking about this laser light, you can get the laser pen if you want to play with the kitty.

Our cats love their drinkwell fountain.

You can buy these little grass packets that hang on the side so they'll have that grass to eat that BB suggested above.

Do the laser pointers work with most cats? I've found it's 50/50 with dogs...

3 out of my 4 cats responded to the laser light, the one which didn't is a big time whore, she is the one who used to get fucked by stray cats.
(I had to give away all of my cats, my mom forced me because she got annoyed by them when I took them back home with me for vacations, also the cats were my and my ex's babies, so after I broke off with my ex, it was really hard for me to take care of them properly.)

I just bought my BFF a kitty tube from target. It was less than $10, and she loved it (she's normally quite picky and acts like *nothing* interests her. It's a lot like THIS one, but without the structure.

My cats do love the laser pointer, but ours eats through batteries awfully quick.

One of our cats also loves the Purr Padd. It's just a pad, but one of the cats loves sitting on it. So if they're not crazy about the cat sitting on the sofa (for instance), you can put the Purr Padd on the sofa, and if the cat is like ours, he'll always sit on that rather than the sofa itself.
