1. first name: where my parents went for their honeymoon
middle name: great grandmother

2."From the name of a region in France which means "kingdom of Lothair". Lothair was a Frankish king, the great-grandson of Charlemagne, whose realm was in the part of France that is now called Lorraine, or in German Lothringen (from Latin Lothari regnum)."

3. never used to like it but seems to fit, middle:never give it much thought, its traditional.

That formula gets used for lots of names:

Daz = Darryl/Darrel/Dave/Damian, and virtually any other name beginning with 'Da'
Baz = Barry, etc
Gaz = Garry, etc
Jez = Jeremy, etc
Chaz = Charles
Shaz = Sharon
Maz = Mandy, Mary, etc

and so on, for any name that begins with a consonant (or two) and then a vowel.

Name - Christopher (no middle name)

After - My dads grandad, well thats what he tells me, my mother has always said it went like this "what should we call him" "i dunno, Christopher?" "yeah sounds good"

Meaning (same as first post lol)

I hate my name, Chris is what everyone calls me apart from my Grandparents and my father. I spell it as Kris when i can, or even Krispy which is my nickname.

Dont have a middle name, which sucks, always wanted one though.

1. Are you named (first, middle) after anyone in particular - relative, family friend, celebrity? Actually, my Dad was watching a children's show, and there was a little girl on there that had my name. My Mom was pregnant with me at the time, and my Dad told her that if I turned out to be a girl, he wanted me to have that name. My middle name is in honor of my godmother/aunt, who actually encouraged my Dad to name me my name when he had second thoughts about it when I was born.

Fun fact: My Mom wanted to name me Stephanie and my maternal grandmother wanted to name me Delilah.

2. What does your name mean, if anything? Naturally my name doesn't pull up in that database because it's a very unusual name. :lol: But in doing other searches on the internet, I have discovered that it means "rock" in various cultures and languages.

3. Do you like your name (first, middle)? Yes, I like both my names, although I get irritated at times because new/unfamiliar people almost always mispronounce my first name.

4. Do you go by your first or middle name? First

:badgrin: :badgrin: I love all my names:
my first name is my dad's, and he was wonderful
my middle name was my mothers dutch name, PEE :badgrin:
My last name in the language of old meant "little nuts",
and it simply isn't so. :badgrin: :badgrin: :badgrin:
I am who I am and I'm comfortable with that.
Big balls and all!..|
