What's on your coffee table?

Interesting the careful specification of time. Perhaps if a photo had been taken 7 minutes before it would have shown you shoving a mountain of junk into a box so the coffee table would be clean for that 5 minutes ago photo?

I can neither confirm nor deny any rumors suggesting that before I could provide a photo of a coffee table I'd have to do a lot of cleaning, first.
Oh. The footnote was to make it clear I wasn't using saved pics of my house that I had in a folder on my laptop. I was trying to show enthusiasm for fulfilling the immediacy of the request in the OP. It was at dawn and raining out, so dark, but I went to my living room and turned on some lights to take the pics.

In fairness, I am a bit of a clutterer, and often get lazy and let things pile up. that same room a month before had several stacks of storage containers, and miscellaneous that I had taken out of my way in the kitchen just adjacent. When the room is cleared, it is quite appealing, so I was proud of having it cleaned up for a change.

I discovered that dense bubble wrap is a nice insulator, plus breaks up patterns so from the outside nothing can really be seen,
OK, so I tried this, but you could STILL tell that I'm fat when wearing the sweatpants & hoodie I made out of them.

They were nice and warm though, so you were half right.

At this moment there is a guitar laying on my coffee table; it's waiting for me to get around to changing the strings and re-adjusting the bridge.

It's been years since I last used a coffee table. I'm just not worthy of such a piece of furniture.

One of the last times I used a coffee table was about 2007. I probably used it as a TV/audio equipment stand by the wall more than I used it as a regular coffee table.
I have a very old coffee table that's built like it was for some semi-rustic cabin that's the bottom of a home-devised "entertainment center". I once used it to set a chair on to climb up and unjam a chain holding a plant hanger.

That is truly bizarre.

I only used two layers on the windows -- enough that it makes a noticeable difference in heating the room.

What's on your coffee table right now? Right this second.

Also some dust and cute little footprints.
I have an ottoman instead of a coffee table. But the lamp table next to my most used chair has a box of tissues, cork coaster, cell phone stand, lamp, ink pen, letter opener, and a smart speaker with display. Of course, my share of dust.

^ you definitely don’t have a cat. 😂 I’d never find the coaster, pen or letter opener.

I've been trying to clean up my office so stuff has found a new/temporary home on the living room coffee table...a lot of old files and records that I have to sort through and discard. I'll get to it this weekend (sure I will ;) ) Other than that, I have a candle, coasters, remotes, a couple of magazines, and a bit of dust...that I'll also get to this weekend.

I always have too much on the coffee table so I have a box by the coffee table and Im just going to put things there so I'll just have laptop, water bottle, and remotes on the coffee table and anything else will be by the table

That must be true for the cats who are of that ilk.

My Coco was about 11 years old when I got her. She has never gotten on the kitchen counters, never bothered anything on the furniture ever, and won't stay on a counter if you place her there. I suspect her first owner trained her, since she is declawed as well, but do not know, since her first owner had gone to a nursing home and I got Coco from her 2nd owner.

Be careful with what you leave on your coffee table if you have this coffee table in your home!

Earlier part of clip starts with woman irritated with the man not doing more around the house.

Oh, but I do! Maybe she is just too old to be interested in that stuff anymore. I never really realized that until you menioned it. She is around 13 years old. About the only thing she knocks off the counter is something very lightweight like a straw.
