Probably "American Pie". I had heard it before when I was growing up, but after listneing to the cover by Madonna and then listening to it again, I never realized how long it was and how much she edited out. Hers is more like a sound bite.

But a lot of Sigur Ros songs sound like they last forever...

Get the DVDs of the Met Ring cycle. It's better if you watch it. Levine's tempos are bit slow but the whole thing is incredible and a wonder to behold. Stock up on lots of popcorn.
