You can't say yourself, as you are not an item LOL

For me, it's a bread knife that has been handed down through generations. Apparently it is from the early 1900s, making it over 120 years old.

In "computer years" this computer I'm posting on is pretty damn old. And I have some that would be positively ancient in another room.

Shouldn't you find something that is actually old for a thread like this?
At first, I thought of a tomahawk head I have, probably 19th century, but unknown age. Then, I thought of a ledger desk I have that I know is about 1870. My favorite old things are a crockery mixing bowl, about 100 years old, and a carving knife, same era. Things from the kitchen carry a bond with me, and I feel closer to those who used them.

A rather mouse-eaten copy of Maury's Manual of Geography, copyright 1903; which, IIRC, was originally owned by my late Father's grandparents.
A copy of Our Pet's Primer, copyright 1900; originally owned by an Uncle of my late Father.
My late Mother's Royal manual typewriter, which she originally purchased in the early 1940's when she was enrolled in business college.

Not sure if these count; but, any number of postage stamps in my United States collection that were originally printed from 1847 (first U. S. stamps) through 1900.

I still use my Hamilton Beach portable electric hand mixer from 1976. Still have the original box and operating instructions.

^Interesting looking mixer! More interesting than what I see sold now--and what it sold now probably won't last nearly 50 years. Unless it's just left in its box...
