Why have the updates been few and far between lately? New guys/vids used to be posted every Saturday, but that clearly hasn't been the case for quite some time. What's going on with the site? Is it being neglected for the Fratpad?
 
I have noticed the same thing its been this way for almost a month now, and even the webmaster promotional materials i have sent to me from Fratmen come like 2 weeks after the model is already listed..kind of late to promote them.
 
It seems that they are working on a makeover... so I've been told.
That would make sense out of the current mess, wouldn't it?
 
they've been neglecting fratmen.tv for fratpad.. and its been since 'soilworks aka jasun' left. he was into the updates. they need some new staffers managing that area.. gonna lose subscribers.

could not agree more. they haev an opportunity to become a bit more edgy and do something different.
They have the best looking guys but need to add something more erotic. What is wrong with these guys rimming or sucking some more cock... It would make me join again.

Yes they are going to lose subscribers and I am going to be one of them. I have been a member for years, with a few short breaks from time to time, but I am really disappointed for a variety of reasons. For one, I e-mailed them a couple of months ago about the video of "Tucker" which would not download (it still won't and appears to have been removed). A week later I got a very curt, some might say rude, reply email stating that the problem seemed to be taken care of (but it wasn't). There was no "sorry that happened, we apologize for the inconvenience, etc." I'm not overly sensitive, and yes it is a freakin porn site, perhaps we shouldn't expect much, but one thing that attracted me to Fratmen was its class and beautiful videography. Yet there is no class to be found in taking paying customers for granted, regardless of what type of business it is, even porn.
 
I to am a FratmenTV member. I joined mainly because as stated by chastay, for the beautiful videography of the male body and the models they feature. My problem has more to do with the nightly shows. Before the fratpad, those nightly shows were down by models usually at home or their college pad. For the most part those shows went on with few tech. problems. Now most if not all shows are done at the Fratpad, and it seems like it's now just a chore the guys have to do. Being on webcam for most of the day, now they're expected to one nightly show a week. The shows rarely start on time, and have numerous tech. problems. Black screen, no sound and with all the so-called experts there, you wouldnt expect these type of problems. Except for the most recent model, Brody, most of the new guys, seem to be on the young, just out of high school guys. IMO, the quality has definately suffered. I've just recently signed on for another month, but it's getting to a point, where maybe it's time to take a break. I've said it before, I think the owners main interest now is the Fratpad. IMO.
 
I have recently begun to appreciate what Jasun contributed when he was at Fratmen/Fratpad. I know he pissed some people off from time to time, but he kept a vigilant eye on these threads and thereby knew what the subscribers' concerns were. He would have been on top of this, now there doesn't seem to be anybody over there who cares enough to even comment on these posts, much less do anything about the problems.

If you ever really read his posts describing his job, by now you would have already appreciated that he was like a housewife: he was not a model or a photographer, just the man Friday; there always seemed to be people more important than him, but in fact the one who put it all together and made it "work" was him.
You only needed a few lines from his posts to know how Fratmen worked without being a subscriber or an insider.

I appreciate the follow up and the information but would like to know what is being done to fix the problems. Once I know this, I may rejoin.
 
The Jasun as 'fifties style housewife' is an apt description.. moreover, jasun understood the brand.. Its hard to reclaim the brand after a period of neglect.
I agree w. the above.. the fratpad nightly shows are not interesting. Don't like all the other guys running around..ruins the illusion of intimacy.. the fratment were/ are sexy.. hot photography.. (I still can't get through the Glenn vid without blowing within 10 min.. hot hot hot) .. but
the 'brand' is being damaged here. ..which is too bad.. but, its just porn and we'll all move on.. not sure i want to watch jake cruise get it on w guys.. SC has been doing good consistent hot sexy vids lately

I've always said I'm nott a big fan at all of jerkers' porn, but the unique thing about Fratmen is that their models could make you feel sex with their mere appearance and lusty attitude, even before getting actually sexual with a hard-on and starting to jerk-off.
Solo porn models are usually too self-conscious and simpering in their poses, apart from having more roids than fibers in their muscles, while Fratmen are more fresh, more real (the untrimming can be enough to put an instant hard-on in your manhood); and, on the other hand, fuck porn can have far less hotter models (and necessarily a Jake Cruise :lol: :roll: ) and the eroticism and even the sexual tension can dissolve in the actual act of intercourse... Sounds rather familiar. I am/was a member of the site. For several days, I couldn't access the site. (It ended up being a CCBill error.) When I emailed Fratmen for help, the only response I got was "it's working fine on our end". That was literally the message: no sorry, no punctuation, no help.

At this point, I'm done with them. Nothing short of the announcement of new Fratmen Paul Walker, Jamie Bamber, or Nick Zano would get me to give them more of my hard-earned cash.
 
I just checked and still nothing has changed. If I was a member, I would be pissed that they are not updating this anymore.
 
They update with a new guy once a week. It used to be Mondays, now it's the middle of the week. You never know what day. Last week it was finally on Friday which was 9 or 10 days. So now it's a week tomorrow and we'll see what happens.
 
So, is it true that this site may be shutting down? I think that they need to have more people assisting with this site. Instead of the models going to the West cost, I am sure that there are plenty of talented people (like me) who wouldl be willing to do some of the work in for John.
What do you think John?
