When Heroes Fall

Canadian soldiers who lose their lives overseas are flown to the Canadian Forces Base in Trenton (between Kingston and Toronto). After arriving, they are transferred to hearses and then transported to the coroner's office in Toronto before being flown to their homes for services and burial.

The portion of the Macdonald/Cartier Freeway (Highway 401) between Trenton and Toronto has been renamed 'Highway of Heroes', and thousands of people line the route to pay their final respects for those who died in service to their country:

Very nice. Thanks for posting. The young people deserve all the respect we can give them. The gave their lives for something and I am eternally grateful.
