Laufey
The Mother of Loki
I went to my doctor with a list of symptoms and I was really disappointed in her reaction. She blamed it all on irregular sleep and depression. She did agree to do a blood test though, which came out fine, but it was just a basic general one not searching for anything specific.
I'm pretty sure that I have something and it really bothers me not to have a name for it so I can have it treated.
I want to share my symptoms with you just in case you might recognize a pattern from your own experience. I know you can't diagnose yourself but it might help to have some idea of what it could be the next time I see a doctor.
I know there probably isn't a connection between most of those but I decided to put everything just in case. Better to put too much than too little...

- Fatigue (tiredness). I pretty much lack energy 24/7. Doesn‘t matter if I get my 7-8 hours of sleep.
 - Numbness in my left leg. The veins under my cheek down to back of the knee look swollen. I can feel the pattern (kinda like a net) when I touch it with my hand.
 - Flue like symptoms regularly without fever (in fact I haven‘t had a fever for like a decade and my average temperature is on the lower side or 36.3 ºC / 97.34 ºF).
 - On a regular basis I get a cough, whenever I do I get stuck with it for weeks or even months.
 - I often wake up with a swollen throat in the morning.
 - Most days my eyes are really stiff and dry when I wake up.
 - Worsen eye sight and mild double vision at times (closing one eye doesn‘t make it go away)
 - Irregular sleep pattern (I always get my 7-8 hours though)
 - Benign fatty tumor on the chest which I had removed few months ago.
 - Hemorrhoids on a regular basis.
 - Urinate very frequently.
 - I have traces of something which looks like fungal infection on the back of my tongue near the throat (I suspect there could be some in my throat which might have something to do with cough). I was on Doxytab for like 5 years to treat acne when I was a teenager which might be the reason (very irresponsible of my skin doctor).
 - Erectile dysfunction for 2 years (age 24-26). When I started on Zoloft it got cured on day one. I don‘t think it was the depression though because it takes weeks or months for it to work on that. One of the side effects is that it thins out your blood so I‘m rather betting on that one being the reason for the sudden fix.
