Celebrity: See above. I don't normally knock shows for being lowbrow, but those two...no.
Singled Out: Never heard of it.
TRL, etc: I wasn't referring to anything that involved music in the programming. Any good show with a plot was my aim, which is why reality TV doesn't count. I like a writing staff.

Their Spring Breaks WERE good now they suck.

Oh man, back in middle school, MTV Spring Breaks used to be enjoyable week long thing with like 10+ different SB shows with the pop music that was hot in like 2000 (Destiny's Child, Eminem, all the boybands & Christina Aguilara & Sisqo, etc)...good times

Now its pretty much crap & only 2 days long starting @ 10pm...

But asking whats wrong with MTV is getting almost as old as asking to remember when MTV played music

MTV used to be a channel filled with music videos, artist development, tour specials, video countdowns, news specials, and a better perspective on the music industry. Now it's just reality shows. MTV is garbage.

I call it Emptytv for a reason. I loved it through the 80s and 90s but now it is just sooooo bad. It was a music pioneer now its a network for people who want their brains to melt.
