  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What's your area code?

416 on me cell

but i live in the 905 area now
i don't have a land line

I'm 416 too, and I used to live in the 905 area (actually the same town you're from! ) I'm actually shocked finding someone from Bolton on here! How old are you?

02 - but that means pretty much nothing to most guys on here

Yet another elitist American thread attempting to ostracize us Europeans.;)

I am 04 by the way.

As a child it was 213 but obviously the population of los angeles country out grew that. Then they changed it to 818 and we out grew that.

We are now and have been for a while: 626.

The other 2 area codes still exist but are much smaller areas.

Growing up, all of Western New York from the shores of Lake Erie to the Pennsylvanbia Border to the rural counties east of Rochester was in the 716 area code.

Both the Rochester and Buffalo areas were 716. In 2002, it was decided to split it into two codes because of the high number of cell phone users. They did it before we ran out of telephone numbers.

So Buffalo got to keep 716.

And our new area code is 585! Truthfully, I like it better than 716! :D

Currently live in 951 -- but my cell number is 714.
