What's your dad like?

My dad is not with us anymore. He and I got along greatly. He taught me many things in life, and was a very loving and honest man. I miss him a lot.

My dad is a very caring man who busted his butt to raise 5 children on an average income. He and my mom were never openly emotional, but I saw some of it when my mom died 2 years ago.
The timing of this thread is amazing. My dad is the only one I haven't come out to in my family, mainly because I'm afraid of his old-fashioned values and the possibility of him not accepting me. Just this morning at the urging of some very close friends, I sent him an email and "came out" to him in my letter. I'm still waiting for the reaction. He's a very private person with his feelings. It might be a while before he acknowledges my letter.

What is your dad like or what was he like as you were growing up in terms of discipline?

Unless i am mistaken you have on numerous occassions stated that your age is 32-34. Is there a question in your mind as to when you were born? I wonder what the documents at the univ.??? indicate.
