So many to list. I'm 39, the 80s was my day, I loved all kinds, and hated a lot of them too! I'm grateful to Napster and iTunes for having so many of the ones I love.

I, like the op, grew up in the 90's and00's but I too love 80's music! I could never pick just one song as my favorie from that era...so many great songs to choose from. Everything from Whitney's 'You Give Good Love' to Foreigner's 'I Want To Know What Love Is'. I think the 80's (like the 90's) had a great range of songs.

I was born in the 80's so I couldn't say I knew much about the decade until I was older. My heart lies in 90's music, but if I look back at the 80's now I always associate it with Michael Jackson. I like a lot of music from the 80's but when I hear anything MJ did in that decade it sort of defines it for me. I know it's a really cliched answer but that's what it is for me.
