  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What's your most femmy attribute?

I feel like most guys don't know what their most "femmy" trait is.

It's also a matter of perspective. Someone who gets their nails manicured with regularity isn't so masc to me but I had a guy get offended for pointing how hypocritical he was for hating on fems but getting groomed regularly.

I don't get my nails manicured, and don't know any gay men who do, but some rich and very rich straight male friends of mine do. I'm impressed at how good it looks.

I shave my pits, pubes and nipples. I nair my legs and ass. I'm hairless from the neck down. I love being smooth!

I don't think this is feminine, simply bodybuilder aesthetics.

I wouldn't know... I like cooking, doing the houseworks and I love shoes but the most feminine trait that I have is probably that I am very sensitive.

I don't believe men should be paid more than women.

After that I'd guess it's my unavoidable pleasure in seeing the current disintegration of the Republican Party. It has long taken an anti-feminist role by trying to redefine feminism as maternity and domesticity. It's the chief reason why they didn't get that running Gov. Palin for VP was the death knell for the ticket. Lipstick on a pig does not a feminist make.

Arguably, affecting "female" mannerisms physically might be the sociological equivalent of putting on blackface, and I find both unappealing.

My mannerisms when alone. I am a very uptight person, but when alone I relax.

Before I die I want to experience some Las Vegas spas. I want the works.

I disagree with this being femmy, but I do love theatre.

Most of this is crap. Liking musicals or being interested in interior decoration is not "femmy"--they may be considered "gay" by some these days but a lot of these so-called gay tastes and interests are not exclusively feminine ones.

Other than being gay, is disliking football, hockey, baseball, tennis, squash, badminton, cricket, boxing, wresting and any other sport under the sun, including the term "sport," feminine?

Probably not, since plenty of women enjoy sports, or claim they do.

Can't think of anything other than that. Even guys who claim they have Acme Atomic-Powered Gaydar don't spot it.

I like singing along to musicals and talking with my hands. And I adore camp. The camper, the better
