Across Seattle, and the greater Western Washington region, we have received 40 inches of rain in 30 days.

Flood alerts are posted across half the State, and more rain is heading for the new week.

Our official count (airport) is 20 inches in the last thirty days, but at my house we measured 30. That's not surprising; the amount at the radio station and that at the airport commonly vary, and by up to fifty percent. We're a mile from the radio station and three from the airport, and which we're closer to in precipitation depends on which way the weather has been coming from.

Today it's cold with drizzle, total precipitation expected to be about 0.1 inches.

Blue skies, basically sunny but: with some relatively small, but thick and strategically screening the sun, cotton clouds towards noon. Same temperatures, warm at noon and in the afternoon, chillier towards dusk and in the early morning.
