What's Your Weather Like?

We haven't had any rain (1.75 inches) since the 2nd week of August. We could sure use it. It cooled off for us last week with highs in 80F's or less. I thought fall had arrived. But this week it will be in the low 100F's except for today with a high of 92F expected.
Oops. I lied. The computer app I looked at was "frozen" from 2 or 3 weeks ago. Our high's this week were just in the 80's.

This will be the 4th weekend or something with heavy rain moving in!

Enough already! I'm moving to the Sahara Desert!

Well probably not.

We had 2 inches of snow overnight and it was 34 F this morning when I got up. Our first snowfall in Cleveland is usually over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. I don't remember it ever snowing Halloween night before.

It's sunny and windy and snowing. Just a flurry at first but now it's really coming down. The wind is blowing the snow everywhere and the trees are at their peak of color. I feel like I'm in some fantasy world snowglobe.

Lake effect snow. I had no snow at all at my house but 7 blocks north and it was white out conditions.

We had on again and off again snow, but it added up to, at most, 2 inches. 25 miles to the east, what is called the snow belt in our metropolitan area they had perhaps 10 inches of snow. It was cold and mostly in the low 20's F.

Thinking of heavy rain, we had 16" in four days.

Yesterday I gauged the flood waters on the highway, decided my truck could manage it, and went around the closure signs to drive through the water to get to Burger King. The nice thing was that the water was running clear which made seeing the painted lines through the water possible.

In the past 7 days (inclusive), south-central Ontario has had over 80 hours of fog

^ same here. It’s supposed to clear out by noon today but I don’t remember the last time we saw the sun. It’s been so cloudy that you can’t even tell where the sun is in the sky and the forecast is the same for the next 10 days.

Cold, but not bitterly.

Chance of wet snow on Friday but no expectation of it sticking.

It's a good day today to go tackle more leaves before retreating indoors to recover. I'm getting out the leaf vac and a tarp.
