^ I really don't get how people in America, talk about pioneers as if that were something of a remote distant past: millions of people are living in pioneering mode.
One could get that those in Laponia or Iceland would live in a similar way, but one would call it "traditional life" but, having the means of a "modern" life to end up living like that?!

In 33 1/2 years I have grown disenchanted with snow its cold its wet I usually fall on my ass because the relative that shovels doesn't know what sand/salt are for nor does he know how to chop ice. And now with my broken foot getting around is going to be an even bigger bitch NO THANKS!
