Yesterday we had severe thunderstorms ahead of a cold front, with tornados in some parts of Florida. Today was sunny but it felt cold today due to the wind chill caused by strong winds, though the temp did eventually hit 70 degrees.

Tonight will be the coldest night of the year so far, with a low of 46 degrees F 8 degrees C. Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high of 67 degrees F 19 degrees C.

Sunny, first dubiously, then hazily so, therefore breezes were less chilly: noticed several locals comfortably short-sleeved with the usual 6ºC-14ºC or so.

It snowed lightly almost all day and was in the 20's F. This reminds me of winters in my childhood when it snowed and stayed on the ground a week or even all winter. We had been having mild winters recently when it would snow and melt in a day or two and you would see the grass, but this is like old times.

Temperatures reached shirt-sleeve levels today. I even picked up a touch of sunburn from working out in the dunes!
