If any of you are in a hot zone take care of yourselves. :)

Winter Springs, FL
Thursday 6:24 PM
Mostly sunny
96°F/36°C
Precipitation: 10%
Humidity: 43%
Wind: 5 mph

It's 70 at my house in Los Angeles. I just returned last night from Paris, where it had cooled down from triple digits to the eighties and nineties. Previously I was in Ireland where people were complaining about the heat wave. It was 75. Honestly, they were complaining.

supposedly hit 73 F but it wasn't consistent; we had one of those days where the wind blows from the west and is cool for a while then switches to coming from the east and is warm... back and forth all day. about the time my body started telling me I'd done enough yard work for the day the wind faded and the weather was gorgeous.

Historic, record rainfall! Most of that ten inches fell between 1:00 am and 8:00 am, and they're saying another round is coming later today and tomorrow. Thunder and lightning all night. There are a lot of power outages, flooded basements, closed roads and businesses, trees down. I have no problems though. I am grateful that it is not January and 20 degrees.

Wow ^ :(

Parts of NJ had a similar rain fall several years back. Although I think it ended up being 7 inches or so. Heating systems and water heaters on the curbs all over.

NJ/NY is getting some relief from the extreme humidity today. Dewpoint is around 55 and temps holding around 80 degrees.

Currently 101F here. My disability worker has put me on a list to see if they can help me get an A/C unit, but it is not a sure thing. In the mean time I am hoping winter comes quick.

West Palm Beach, Florida USA Mostly Cloudy 80 degrees F 27 degrees C, humidity 87%, dew point 76 degrees F 24 degrees C, heat index 85 F 29 C. We had rain and thunderstorms yesterday and last night. Actually, it has been rather dry for this time of year, and hot and humid, typical for summer.

Today: Sunny, high 91 F 33 C, heat index up to 103 F 39 C. Tonight: Mostly Clear, low 78 F 26 C. It is also supposed to get hazy in the next couple of days, with Saharan dust moving in.

Heat index at 103 degrees in NY/NJ area. Dewpoint is like 73.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the peak heat day and then fall to the upper 80s

After a few days of 99F or higher, we just had a rain shower and the temp is down to 68F. Our high for tomorrow is only 71F!! My chance to spray some weeds in the lawn and mow.

Under a heat advisory, currently 102 with a heat index of 105. Suppose to have some showers tonight and a high tomorrow of only 80.

In town it hit 77° F; up the river where I was it hit 92° F. Wonderful weather to get naked by noon and sloshed by six.

I tested river tubes -- found that one leaks but I couldn't locate the leak -- by floating on them and seeing if I slowly sank. I also built a substantial jetty sticking out from the river edge for the purpose of focusing the current for a better river tube ride -- no more bumping rocks, just a nice fast WHOOOOOSH!

Poor Bammer got to the river, waded in to swim, and tired himself out swimming fifteen feet; he spend the rest of the day on a nice spot of sand in the shade where he could keep an eye on me.

Tomorrow it's supposed to be 75° F in town; I'm going to be doing pressure washing around the property plus some over at the church across the street if I have the energy.

It was 75 F at our house today. After some colder weather that seems unusual for this time of the year.

Today it was unseasonably warm for late October in Chicago. I missed it because my ma needed help ironing a bunch 0f shot out and getting things straight and organized!
