What's Your Weather Like?

Another beautiful day close to 80 again for the beginning end of October that's pretty good for Chicago!

Was cooler today sweater weather...side note sweater weather now available at Bath & Body Works...I don't recommend it but of the Mens line Noir is fabulous!

Before the storm we just had I left two five-gallon buckets sitting in the yard empty. In about thirty hours they got filled. That's fourteen inches of rain in thirty hours.

Sadly clouds moved in last night and I missed the lunar eclipse.

West Palm Beach, Florida USA. Hurricane Warning. Light rain and windy, 75 degrees F 24 degrees C. Wind 29 MPH gusting to 43 MPH, humidity 88%.

Well, Nicole is officially a hurricane. This time I decided not to close the accordion shutters on my windows. I've done that many times before with these hurricanes only to not get much weather from them. It takes a couple of hours to do, and then I have to undo them after the storm. The hurricane will make its closest approach later tonight, so I'll find out if I made the right call in a few hours.

It was warm today but the weekend its gonna tank! Supposed to be in the 30's Sat/Sun!

Cold and cloudy. The clouds are a good thing; without them the temperature last night would have been at least five degrees lower.

Happily the clouds didn't come in till after midnight, so I got to see Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn in the sky -- could have seen Neptune and Uranus if I'd had a telescope, and Mercury if I had a lens with the right filter. It's kind of awesome that all the planets that can be seen with the unassisted human eye are in the sky at the same time!

66 degrees with clouds moving in for tomorrow's rain from Nicole

Pleasant enough today was able to go to the dentist in shorts and a t no heavy sweater or jacket!

Over night the low is suppose to be 17F but currently it is 23F and "feels like 8F" and we are not suppose to get any precipitation.

It rained all day, probably 12 hours or more. Even though our newspaper was in our driveway in a plastic bag, it got soaked. Don't know how that happened.

28F this morning. We have some snow on the ground and on cars.

I'm getting out my Christmas lights!

warm 70 degrees it was 80 on Monday. but they are calling for snow Thursday . :telstra:

We are supposed to get a lot of snow and ice today and tomorrow. I am hoping it is not as bad as the city and news people are making it out to be. Supposed to be all melted by Saturday.

Right now it's 26° F outside with winds at about 25mph, gusts to 40mph -- either of those would be fine, but together they suck!

How low the humidity had gotten is illustrated by the fact that last night when I let Knox out there was ice on the porch ramp but now it's all gone, sublimated away in the dry wind.

I hope the snow gets here soon; this cold wind isn't good for the seedlings I have in my truck that need to get planted; snow will insulate them.
