What's Your Weather Like?

Was in Martin, Tennessee yesterday morning, having gone the night before to see my two godsons and their parents as the boys, now college age, competed in a college rodeo. Lovely rolling hills of the area made a pleasant drive.

The front moving over left the ride and stops on the way home a bit raw, as the wind was unkind, but not hard to drive through. Should have packe a jacket, but was outdoor so briefly, it was no matter. Overheated at the rodeo, as it was in a big sheet metal building with only big fans over the center and nothing at the top where we were seated. Was probably 84 in there and still and humid.

West Palm Beach, Florida USA Last hourly observation: Thunderstorm and light rain, 72 degrees F 22 degrees C.

The rain has stopped for now, actually the sun is shining. The airport had nearly 5" of rain before midnight. There was another round of storms during the late night, and more storms this afternoon, but none of them were anything like yesterday evening. The weather should be clearing later tonight, and be drier and a bit cooler for the next couple of days, with highs around 78-80. Other than lots of standing water in the usual low places, I haven't seen any flooding.

In other news, the National Weather Service has issued an El Nino watch. The weather patterns have shifted to a neutral position, and they expect an El Nino to develop by winter. That's going to affect the weather for all of us in North America at least, not just Florida.

For the US, that's mostly good, right? Mild winter in the Northeast and plenty of rain for California, which can always use it. I feel sorry for the Aussies, but since they've had two years of deluges and floods, I guess it's time for bushfires again.

My phone says 80 but my car said 88. My car and phone are usually the same so one is lying. It feels warmer than 80 but not 88

Dull. Cold.

Al. Send us some of that weather please.

Only 60-something and only sunny-ish here today. I guess that summer weather is on its way east ...

Beautiful, sunny Vero Beach. Always a breeze. Nice.
