  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

When did you first begin to feel "old?"

I don't feel old at all.

I feel like an 18 year old.

(Anyone know an 18 years old I can feel?)

So you're feeling like having

I feel tired a lot lately due to working over 60 hours a week but I know I still look and am young. The body may be a little tired but i'll soon bounce back with a holiday in the summer to re charge the battery's.

I am only 21, but I've started to feel old

Someone might tell you to fuck off. But they'd be an old fart.

Gabriel García Márquez said it beautifully in 'Love in the Time of Cholera'...."old age and death come with a fall."

I started feeling (physically) old after my last bad fall.

I probably didn't feel mature until my first boyfriend; around age 23.

when my chest hairs started turning gray - now - even some of my pubes are white -- but i still think of myself as young - it's just every once in a while u get a glance in the mirror and think when did i get so old

Sorry gentlemen, I am 67 and I still haven't started to feel old.
Im will let you all know if and when it ever happens. Call it denial
if you like, but it is only when I look into a mirror and see this gray
haired fellow staring back that I get a bit confused, but no I am
am not feeling old.

When a 15 year old bag boy at the grocery store called me 'Sir', and asked if I wanted help with the groceries out to my car. (I didn't know whether to pass out or take a swing at him...) ;)

But then later that same day I got carded for a six-pack of beer and felt much better..... :gogirl:

It happened for me when I became a student teacher. It never occurred to me that the kids would be addressing me as "mister." When a kid called me that for the first time, I almost felt like I should be looking around for my dad! Anyway, I've gotten used it it after 23 years of teaching. The next moment that made me feel my age was teaching the child of a former student. :D

I recently realised that it was 20 years ago that I had a job in a certain place. It sort of sucks for it to be 20 years since you did anything. Actually in that particular job it freaked me out when a customer came in with a little kid and said to him "Give the money to the man". I almost had to look round to check if there was someone stood behind me.

Seeing people in bars who you last remember being in junior school or worse, are the children of people you were at school with!!!

Having time off work with a bad back despite not having done anything specific to cause it.

Last time I went skiing (2 years ago) and having the realisation that the risk of being killed outweighed the amount of fun I was having.

Reaching the stage where getting a bit too drunk on Friday night leaves you fucked up until Monday afternoon.

just ask you self this

These were TWO major things to make one realise that they are getting older.
