Being gay is natural. Period.

I don't consider it a "born" condition because sexuality isn't developed at birth. To me being "born gay" means you were literally born looking at men in the hospital nursery. I think we need a better terminology than "born gay."

I say "natural" works best for me.

I realized I was attracted to men when I was 4 and I saw The Sound of Music. When Rolf sang "Sixteen, Going on Seventeen", and told Liesel that he was going to take care of her, I thought to myself that I wanted him to take care of me!

I didn't realize that this wasn't normal until I was 14. I just thought that all men wanted men, but they weren't allowed so they settled for women. At 14, I realized that this meant I was gay, which they told me was bad so I tried to repress it (I never went out with girls -that's just yucky) until I finally came out when I was 17 to my friends and at 18 to my family.

For me I would say I realized i was attracted to guys maybe sophomore year in HS. I had a crush on a girl in middle school so idk what that means. However I remember that I'd kind of judge guys appearances to my own or think a guy looks good during that time but never made the connection. I also did gymnastics from 7-14 and even though I never realized I liked guys during that time, I remember kind of idolizing some of their bodies and wanting mine to become like that.

I started looking at the undewear section in the Sears and JC Penney catalog when I was in the fifth or sixth grade.

When I went to the seventh grade, we all we reguired to shower after PE. I remember thinking I was in heaven with all of those bushes, cocks, and naked asses.

For me it was nature not nurture.

I first noticed how attracted I was to guys in 7th grade when I had the guts to look up porn. I was watching a video but noticed how I was really staring at the guy more than the girl.

My earliest memory is when I was about 4 years old. I remember watching a movie where there was a guy and a girl in the bath tub....I walked over to the television and tried to look down into the tub to see the man's penis!! Needless to say, I didn't get to see it. But later that day, I walked in on my dad taking a piss. I was VERY attracted to what I had seen. Ever since then, I have been attracted to men. I couldn't say if I was born with it or if it was something that just happened.

When was 3years old and not wishing to give details for it is for people to experince in life for themselves and hopefully help them around to understand the stupid ways of it all

But it is not that I was different but that you are being cast into a role weather you like it or not. When the world was handing out the labels and casting people for the roles it is always good to remember their many who grew up outside the statusquo of long ago that has not changed much and as the roles unravel you are just left with your self.

As much as certain cultures like to keep the labels going in their limited ways there are no labels just the majority ways

Why it is difficult for the majority to face up to this is very clear but while they are figuring it out I am not different becuase I am just myself and how rest of world wish to create me and process me through their Phobias of life is so far very difficult until the majority get a life

This is common knowledge to millions cast into ways they have no control over it be it in nice way or not very nice ways

So it up to you to decide to label your self as different
but for me I am not even if my life place me where many would never care to be but of the majority who still feel free to use me as long as they are not contaminated by the label that they are so happy to play with with whatever idea they have that gets them off

WISH ALL ONE DAY AND FUTURE GENERATIONS TO BE FREE OF IT FOR IT IS NOT A NICE WAY TO ENJOY LIFE

Why gay lesbian and straight have a lot of ways to go before they all pack up their labels and piss off to the old historys ways

In the meantime do what you can do as best you can and take pride in it even if many no wnat to know it after they done with it

I am sure there is a lot can say but there are plenty people who know it but they really want to put it about and not just their bodies which really has no say in it

I think I first became mentally aware of it when I was looking down guys shorts that sat across from me in 7th grade...

In fifth grade I was told by a girl that I had "Nice legs, for a guy." I didn't realize at the time what she was saying, and didn't even know what I liked til a few years later.

Mine started for sure around the 3rd and 4th grades. But I never remember not being attracted to other guys. I could never forget the first time I saw the dick of a guy older than I. He was in the 8th grade and I was in the 6th. I thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.

I suspected I was gay in 7th grade, so about 12 years old, but then I knew for sure a year later. However, looking back I can see the signs that I have always been gay. Hell, my first memory is of Tom Cruise dancing in his underwear from when I was less than a year old.
