we were just starting out when i told this girl i was bi. It took her about a month of convincing and investigation on her part to believe me.

exactly.. it should be kept to the people involved.. which means NO SECRETS! why wouldnt express a pretty big part of yourself to the person you are supposedly going to remain faithful to for the rest of you life? would you hide your religion? would you hide your upbringing? sounds like a perfect oppurtunity for disaster. be truthul with your 'soulmate' as you would be with yourself.
 
when i saw that we were gonna hang out more than once i told her and she's been totally cool about it. she didn't freak because i made sure that she totally got that me being bi shouldn't make her feel threatened.
