When do you hang your Christmas lights?

Tomorrow's supposed to be the "official" beginning of the Christmas (read: "Xmas") holiday "season."

When do you deck your halls?

Usually the weekend after Thanksgiving (almost always coincides with the first Sunday in Advent). And then they stay up through Ash Wednesday. We don't do anything gawdy...blue icicle lights for a blue house...looks really neat. So we leave them up for a while. Other people in our neighborhood have started doing the same thing. Really neat.

Whenever we can be arsed to drag the stuff out of the loft. Which given the state of our loft is easier said than done, especially when the famous portrait of the Mona Cynthia is in the way.

Usually about a week beforend. And then they come down again on Jan 2nd.

as early as the day after thanksgiving.....but not in the last few years, since the triptophan kept me sedated for a majority of the day, LOL.

If, however, you want to throw a party and invite me, I'm flexible.

I'm not Christian either but I decorate the first Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Since when did Christians have the monopoly on Christmas?
