when do you start cleaning your ass properly ?

I am OCD freak, but I have never cleaned my ass (except the outer cheeks) in the shower, because I don't want trace fecal matter on my hands--which I guess makes me gross in one way, but I guess I always figured it's better to have my hands clean. I know I could wash my hands with more soap afterward--but I would never feel clean. I have always wondered if most people wash their asses in the shower and if so how they do? I like the idea of using a glove--I could consider that. Do most people just put a soapy hand in there? I use a toilet that cleanses me with a spray of water after a bowel movement, in addition to toilet paper, but of course that's not as clean as a soapy cleansing, which I wish I could have without using my hands!
 
i never clean my ass, it's impure to touch yourself there.

oh my dear lord...do people really use wash cloths in the ass? that sounds like the least hygienic thing i have ever heard of...what would you do with it afterward? i am assuming you'll say put it in the washing machine but how would you carry it there opening doorknobs and the laundry machine door without contaminating everything....this is why i want to know this stuff..having OCD i am never sure how "normal" people go about things..it's fascinating to me....for me to cleanse myself with a wash cloth--well i think i'd have to throw it out....and it would require many gloves!

If you think that's bad, you don't want to see how many gloves I go through...I mean just brushing my teeth and flossing takes me a number of gloves..but I get a 1,000 per pack at costco pretty cheap.
 
I hope you don't use bar soap to clean your ass - think about it - the next time you shower that same soap is now on your face!! :eek::eek:
 
I'm surprised at how cavalier you all are, then again I do have OCD. And yes, I do have meds and help--I've been getting help since I was 14. OCD doesn't go away. Part of it is that I don't want it to go away. I'm not complaining about it. I just see the world differently. Now, yes there are instances where OCD has been prohibitive to me, and that's not good. The things with gloves and washing, believe me, are not my big problems. My OCD about thoughts can get so confusing and overwhelming that I just get lost in my head.

I think part of it also is that I live on my own and can do things my own way. I think if I were around other people and saw how they did things--like if I ever lived in a college dorm and saw how people went about things I might have picked up on more normal habits, but I sort of figured out things like how I wash myself on my own over time. Some of what you all have said like considering a bar of soap clean by just running it under water do sound very liberating though.

But you have to realize that everything all of us do is based on feelings. Like if you wash your hands or wash cloth after exposing it to your anus and feel it's clean enough, that's a feeling, it's a societally, culturally constructed feeling you have. For me it wouldn't feel clean. It's not really about the number of bacteria on your hand. Because you would feel clean, and still have bacteria on your hand. I would feel dirty having done the same thing. I feel dirty unless I wash my hands a very particular way after using the bathroom (use hand sanitizer first and then dry wash with soap, then wash twice more with water and soap). That makes me feel clean. You'd probably feel clean with one pump of soap and 30 seconds of washing. At a rational level, I realize that I would live even if I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom, but I wouldn't have that feeling I want. OCD is a neurological thing that makes people not feel satisfied with things as other people do respective to the culture of that person. I say that because in the middle east for example, you are considered rude to offer your left hand to someone because that is the hand used for cleaning yourself, therefore psychologists wouldn't consider it OCD for them to consider the left hand tainted because it's their culture. In the US they would consider it OCD to think the hand you wipe yourself with--even if washed--is tainted. So OCD is really about seeing the world differently than the rest of your culture.

When I was younger I had something similar to that middle eastern custom...I would masturbate as I was going to sleep and afterward had to lie facing the wall, and on nights I didn't, I would face the other wall. It's lots of random rules to follow---much like religion! And I theorize that OCD in some ways serves the same purpose--to give a sense of order, of things being good or bad. It also can serve to get you stuck--if you are afraid of moving forward. But it's also a neurological thing I think. I have had OCD behavior since I was in 1st grade.
 
Apparently using OCD as a security blanket...properly sanitized and

hermetically sealed I am sure. What about that filthy keyboard?
 
So now the ass cleaning ritual abruptly changes into an OCD criteria? :lol:

This thread has gotten way too complicated. Keep it simple: Hit the tiolet, then go shower and clean and soap your ass(yes fingers do work); then lube that Dildo and cram it up your ass to make sure its all clean. and then your set to go !!! :)

Hey, your fingers are probably ending up the other guy's ass during sex; so your own fingers should be good for your own ass. :)
