I have this gay friend on Facebook. He used to play video games with my friends and I sometimes, but it was a long time ago, I haven't seen him in ages. I (and everyone else) always suspected he was gay, but it wasn't 'official' until he became my friend on Facebook. Thanks to his Facebook and most of his friends' I learned gay guys like posting lot of shirtless pics of them, having lots of friends with shirtless pics of them, and talking about Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and other American female pop singers (which is funny because we live in Mexico but whatever).

Anyway, I was checking his friend list (again, consisting mostly of males with shirtless pics) and found a really hot guy, so I decided to check his pics for further investigation  I ended up being more surprised by the comments than the pics. They were ALL from other shirtless guys, saying things like "FUCK ME I WANT UR DICK" and suggestive things like that. Checking those other guys' pics, I noticed the exact same kind of comments.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but... wow, Facebook is not Manhunt. I have 10 years old cousins on Facebook, I'd never post comments like those. Question: is your Facebook like this? or is it only a common thing among guys with hot bodies who post exclusively revealing pics of them?

I post raunchy or sexual stuff on Facebook, but it's always in a joking manner. I have family on Facebook as well.

But I was able to read them, so they weren't private at all

I guess if these guys don't have family on Facebook there's nothing stopping them from posting those comments. Still, I don't think I'd post that even if I didn't have family on Facebook. I mean, imagine you get into a relationship with someone, this person checks your Facebook and reads all your posts about fucking random hot guys.

And what if they want open relationships?

Then there are LOTS of guys into open relationships around here

@fetaby: I'm not even judging, I just was surprised. I can't believe in the same site (Facebook) I can read my 10 years old cousin telling me he loves me, and then a guy wanting to fuck a random guy, lol.

I'm saying that you should make some things private so your cousin doesn't see it if they are on your computer.

Just because someone says they want to fuck somebody doesn't mean that they are going to and you don't even know if they were serious or not.

Oh, come on. I know that, they most likely don't even know each other. See first post: surprised. See my last post: surprised. And then I ask if that's a common thing or not, because I never noticed it before. Absolutely nothing else is implied.

Agreed. Maybe people need to edit themselves, or send a private inbox! A lot of the times, these friends are pretty random ones that add you because they think you're hot. If you're selective about which friends you add I don't think that will happen. But that's only if you... care.... lol

@huntneo: This is what I mean. There are sites for that. And the comments I'm talking about are not "lol, you're hot dude" friendly comments, some of them are rather detailed about the hypothetical sexual encounter, lol.

talking about Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and other American female pop singers (which is funny because we live in Mexico but whatever).

What does talking about American female pop singers have to do with y'all living in Mexico? Is it forbidden to like singers from another country?

I've never seen any of my friends post pictures or comments like that. Weird... Must investigate.

^ People say it's funny that I listen mostly to Japanese music, I can say it's funny if people living in Mexico listen mostly to American music

You didn't sound surprised with that quote. It seemed as if you were taking these comments seriously.

I'm surprised that those guys post those comments given the possibility of that scenario. That's why SilverWolf said "And what if they want open relationships?". Not that difficult to understand, I think :)

Its not really that uncommon. A lot of countries are heavily influenced by American pop culture.

Besides facebook sucks when it comes to this...It doesn't allow nude pics (I think)

I know twitter does....Try following some porn stars and some models and let the good times begin.

^ That's mostly why I was surprised. I just didn't think people used Facebook like that, since it's not even that good for it. I just didn't expect it, I've always thought of Facebook as a very family-friendly site for grannies who want to be in contact with their relatives living in another city, lol.

This is why I have very few friends on my Facebook account, it amazed me that people had a cock picture as their default profile picture and the account remained up for months.
