When giving out Halloween candy; how old is too old to receive candy?

Eighty-seven and a half. I'm not quite sure why. That just seems to be a good cut-off point to me. :p Also, I never would give out candy to anyone. I'm one of those sticks in the mud who only would give out something nutritious, such as those small boxes of organic raisins. I'd probably be the most hated person by children and senior citizens everywhere. :D

At least you are smart enough not to give out apples. Someone tried to do that one year and they ended up with a few broken windows courtesy of said apples.

Several years ago, a group of teenage girls trick or treated at my house. They were not in costumes, unless you consider dressing as sluts a costume, which I don't because it was likely their usual attire. They were obnoxious, complained about the candy I was handing, grabbed a bunch of extra candy out of my bowl, mocked the fact I was in a suit (I just got home from work).

I swore then, NEVER AGAIN!

I turn off the lights and abandon the house on Halowe'en each year now.
