well i just watched the national news

so about 2 hours ago

Election day it tomorrow. I'll be insulted at about 9pm CST.

I have a pretty easy semester right now so I'm home a lot. My housemates, though not having a much rougher time, choose to spend all their time in campus labs. They never go more than a day or two without hinting that maybe I'm useless because I have a lot of free time. Nevermind the fact that I'm like their little housewife and pick up after them and do dishes. When they imply I'm not as useful as them because I'm not as visibly busy it is insulting. I'll go with Friday as the last time they mentioned it - they avoid it on the weekends when they don't do work.

Often..
I'm from Israel...you can not belive how many dumb-asses think I had something to do with 9-11

most often people say things that insult my intelligence

as if i somehow i don't know better

it's like being in the chamber of the wizard of oz...lol

pay no attention to the man behind the curtain

The worst feeling in the world is hearing your friends talk about you when they don't think you can hear, and hearing what they really think - and it's not good ... that was in August for me ...

I kinda get what you mean - after I left school, I was hanging out in a local car park with the lads and a bottle of cider - then one of my mates noticed a shit load of graffiti about people who were in our year. After having read it i was disgusted that no-one had written single derrogatory thing/rumour about me!

Who was it that said "There's only one thing worse than being talked about - and that's not being talked about!" ?

reminds me of what madonna once said...

bad press is better than no press at all ;)

My situation, might seem a little bitchy or silly, but I felt insulted none the less.

The one day my people I live with now told me when I did dishes at the apartment, that I didn't do them right. That, I left little stains on them and stuff. Which is untrue because it doesn't take a frickin rocket scientist to do dishes, I was really upset with that because with that comment, I was the only one who really did dishes when we lived in that apartment, and they still ate off these dishes and everything. So, if they were so bad then why the fuck did they still eat off of them?

so, I did feel a little insulted with that and I told them that they can do their own god damn dishes from now on. :grrr:

I know exactly how you feel! My roommate lets his dishes pile up, while I wash the ones I use. The he keeps using them all (including the ones I clean) until we start running out of spoons, plates, etc. And then he's like "I found 'mold' on a spoon," clearing implying that it was me since I'm the only one who does dishes on a regular basis. I just want to say, "Then, you know...WASH IT." And then after a couple of weeks he just throws them all into the dishwasher, as if he couldn't do it earlier. Apparently, even putting them in the dishwasher is SO hard that he just can't bring himself to do it until dishes are overflowing in the sink. He's such a bum and it's so irritating!

Well, now I'm all upset!
