When people bump old threads...

An old thread about bumping old threads, being bumped?! :wow:

Also, I wish I could see all my old forum posts. The list only goes back so far. Sometimes I like to look at some of the old stuff I've posted lol

My replies from last week often seem like they were posted by somebody else ... but my replies from years ago really were posted by somebody else ...I am not the same kind of person as I was 5 years ago.
We have so much in common.

I remember an anal thread was bumped and I thought I know what I ll say . . . and then I saw my post. I had already said it ;-)

There was a guy who always bumped threads at another forum. All he would say is something like "cool", "thanks"

It's a Catch-22. If you bump an old thread, someone yells at you for bumping an old thread. If you start a new thread, and there is already an old thread about the same subject, even if it is 4 years old, someone else yells at you for not using the search function and bumping the old thread.

I'm 100% more interested in the idea laid out by the poster than whether it is in a new thread or an old thread. It's like reading a brilliant novel and then kvetching about whether the author wrote it with an old pen or a new pen.
